Dear Ladies,

We are excited to begin a new season of Alliance Women ministries within our church as we anticipate the formation of new and closer relationships and shared growth in Christ!  It is a blessing to have so many ladies within our body who represent a wide range of ages, interests, experience and potential. May we each come to recognize God’s desire for our continued development of unity and sister-fellowship within the context of our Christian faith and His righteous and abundant love~

Following are some important updates for this year. Please take note and consider how you might become a blessing and be blessed through your participation in Alliance Women.

$1.00 Coffee Nights are now LNO!, Ladies’ Nights Out.  This is open to any woman, high school age and up, who is interested in making friends, hearing about our own “adopted” missionaries, our on-going Bible studies, and about our National Alliance Women focus. We will meet for dessert at various homes on the last Friday of each month from 7:00 to 8:15 pm.  If you wish to host one of these nights, please contact Stephanie Davis.

Alliance Women Workdays will continue this year on a monthly basis. This is a casual and enjoyable time to help provide, assemble and mail practical and necessary supplies for Alliance missionaries who are serving overseas. Monthly attendance is not necessary, so come when you can! Contact Vangie Alexander.

Not-So-Secret Sisters (NSSS). This opportunity is intended to help foster new, encouraging relationships among the women in our congregation. Each Not-So-Secret Sister will be matched with another to secretly pray for and encourage with gifts and notes throughout the next few months. Sisters will then be revealed in March, with a monthly NSSS activity scheduled April through June.  Sisters will be arranged in groups of 4 to help accommodate the development of relationships after the reveal.  If you are interested, please contact Jessica Bemis.

Bible Study Groups. To be healthy, our Alliance Women unity must form around our shared love for Christ and determined development of our faith. As sisters in Christ, we have special opportunities to uplift and encourage one another toward spiritual maturity that includes communal study of Scripture. Are you benefiting from these opportunities? We currently offer several study groups throughout the week.

Every 2nd and 4th Monday evening, 7:00pm, several ladies are gathering at the home of Jessica Bemis to study an inductive study of Psalm 119, “Sweeter than Chocolate,” by Pam Gillespie. This new study topic is just beginning, so if you join now you won’t be behind!  Contact Jessica.

Please consider yourself personally invited to attend any event or group... and you are always encouraged to bring a friend! We cannot enjoy the full benefits of being a complete body without the participation of an important part – you!
